Five years in Sweden
My five-year-old Swedish ID card will expire next month. I cannot believe it. It feels like yesterday when I came to Sweden for the first time. I have to say that I am so grateful for this journey. I have learned so much, grown as a person and have felt such a strong sense of belonging here. Many people ask me what it was like to immigrate to a new country with little knowledge of the language or the culture. First of all, I need to say thanks to an Indonesian friend, Satu. (You can find his blogs here.) I have never said this to him but I am really thankful because he is the one who brought me into this world of nature exploration.
